The World Curling Federation (WCF) will hold an International Wheelchair Curling Classifier Workshop in Finland. This Workshop will take place immediately before the Wheelchair Qualification Event at the same location.

This is an educational program for WCF Wheelchair Curling Classification. This is not only the 1st step to be an international classifier, but also provide participants useful information for national level classification
Candidate Requirements
* National Classifier
* Physician, Physical therapist or Occupational therapist
  • Lecture
    • WCF, Curling and Wheelchair Curling
    • IPC Classification Code
    • WCF Wheelchair Curling Classification rules
  • Hands-on Workshop
    • Simulation
* Participant will be able to join as a ‘Trainee Classifier’ during actual Classification for Qualification Event next day (Saturday 3 November).
